This year, doctors from all over the world once again gathered at the Expert Summit in Barcelona to exchange scientific ideas. With more than 450 participants, the congress was very well attended.

Once again, G+B supported the Merz Expert Summit as a technical partner.

Using our 360° camera, we were able to digitise all the premises during an initial site visit and thus create a virtual tour. Further technical site visits were no longer necessary, as the customer was able to view the location on their own PC at any time and take a virtual tour of the premises. A detailed rendering of the stage allowed our customer to visit the event in advance within the 3D tour.

In addition to concept development, our team was also responsible as general contractor for the entire implementation of sound, lighting, video, directing, trucking and exhibition stand construction on site. This included two 12m x 4.5m LED walls in the video area, over 140 spotlights, sufficient ATOMIC sheltered modules and stage construction with our exhibition stand construction partner Art und Weise. We supervised several rehearsal rooms, PowerPoint reception points and breakout sessions over the weekend.

In addition to a spectacular stage design and many other technical highlights, we are particularly pleased that the Expert Summit has chosen G+B as its event technology specialist for the 13th time.

But what exactly is a rendering?

Our team works with CAD-based lighting design, visualisation and pre-programming software that calculates a finished 3D image based on the ideas provided by the customer and our team.

With our pre-created rendering, we were able to respond perfectly to the customer’s detailed wishes and offer them a picture of their event in advance.
