Our company history

We have been inspiring people for 40 years

Kurt-Werner Gahrens’ and Jürgen Battermann’s very pronounced idea of service led to the founding of their joint company in 1983.

With a small number of employees, the company started in 1984 with the sale and rental of audio and video equipment, thus laying the first stone for a company history full of commitment and passion for the event industry and its customers.

Since then, GAHRENS + BATTERMANN has positioned itself in the market as an innovative full-service event service provider. Teams of experienced event professionals at eight locations throughout Germany plan and realize around 6,000 events every year. With a range of hardware and software, we are now a leader in all event formats.
