Grimme Online Award 2020

The Grimme Online Award for the best online journalism is awarded annually in 4 categories with up to 8 winners plus audience award – actually with a big party. In the past years G+B has always accompanied this event technically. This year this event has also been changed due to the situation.

We were actively involved when laudators and presenters met at the Harbour Club in Cologne on the occasion of the #goa20. Without further ado, the party location was transformed into a complete TV studio with extensive direction. The entire event was broadcast via a live stream on Youtube. The award winners and nominees met in various virtual rooms and were broadcast live as award winners.

Only the coveted prizes were sent analog after the event.

Our job: The whole program! Brilliant lighting, perfect sound, super picture quality and streaming via Youtube. Congratulations to all the award winners!
