Opening of the new corporate headquarters
G+B supported the sophisticated opening ceremony with video, audio, and lighting technology.
The project at a glance
The newly constructed headquarters of Continental AG, which accommodates 2,400 employees, was officially inaugurated during a festive ceremony. To this end, 150 prominent guests from the worlds of politics, business, and culture were invited to the new main foyer.
In addition to appropriate ambient lighting, the G+B team installed a sound system with various components to achieve uniform sound level distribution throughout the foyer.
Furthermore, a four-meter-wide and six-meter-high LED wall was installed as a special eye-catcher.
The G+B team faced particular challenges in the parallel use of the foyer by Continental employees during the construction, the difficult construction of truss systems above the staircase area, and the statics of the 6-meter-high LED wall on a substructure.
