Opening of the new company headquarters
G+B supported the sophisticated opening ceremony with video, audio and lighting technology.
The project at a glance
Continental AG’s newly built headquarters for 2,400 employees was officially inaugurated during a festive ceremony. To mark the occasion, 150 prominent guests from the worlds of politics, business and culture were invited to the new main foyer.
In addition to suitable ambient lighting, the G+B team implemented a sound system with various components in order to achieve an even sound level distribution throughout the foyer.
Furthermore, a special eye-catcher was installed in the form of a four-metre wide and six-metre high LED wall.
Special challenges for the G+B team were the parallel use of the foyer by Continental employees during the construction, a difficult construction of truss systems above the staircase area and the statics of the 6-metre-high LED wall on a substructure.
