Hanover fair 2018: whether opening ceremony, exhibitor or the german trade fair – in point media technology the partner is called GAHRENS + BATTERMANN

The appeal of HANOVER FAIR seems unbroken: 210,000 trade visitors and over 5,000 exhibitors came to Hanover in April for the world’s most important industrial trade fair, which this year bore the motto “Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate”. This year, HANOVER FAIR comprised five leading trade fairs and was held jointly with the logistics trade fair CeMAT. GAHRENS + BATTERMANN was responsible for the media technology equipment of various trade fair presences of different companies.

The festive kick-off event took place on April 22 at the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) and German Chancellor Merkel, together with President Peña Nieto from the partner country Mexico, opened the fair. The opening ceremony was a gigantic show and impressed 2,500 invited high-ranking guests.

The implementation of the elaborate concept with the complex feed technology ran hand-in-hand with the creative agency again this year and the show perfectly reflected the interplay between man and machine in line with the trade fair motto.

High-end technology for renowned exhibitors

Numerous exhibitors relied on the media competence of GAHRENS + BATTERMANN. To name just a few examples, the presence of the partner country Mexico in Hall 27 or the stand of the HARTING technology group in Hall 11 were among the crowd-pullers. In both cases, G+B was responsible for the entire technical installation and operation of the media technology. Nowadays, it is hard to imagine a booth without LED walls and displays, and thanks to sophisticated technology, they can be installed innovatively and at a high creative level.
