G+B on stage | Set | Scenery 2019 WITH G+B AS PARTNER, SERVICE PROVIDER AND EXHIBITOR

The international trade fair for theater, film and event technology in Berlin draws a positive balance with more than 300 exhibitors and about 6,000 international trade visitors on three days of the fair. GAHRENS + BATTERMANN was present as partner of the Safety in Action stage, as consultant as well as executing event service provider and exhibitor.

As an experienced specialist in event services, the G+B team from the Berlin branch had already been assisting the Stage|Set|Scenery project team in planning and conceptualizing the various event areas of the trade fair – Safety in Action stage, Lightlab and Immersive Showroom – since last year and throughout the entire planning process.

Patricia Pohle, project manager of Stage|Set|Scenery 2019, praised the entire G+B team for the cooperative partnership:

A big thank you to GAHRENS + BATTERMANN. Because without your commitment, patience and flexibility, our special areas would not have been possible at all. Sometimes one wonders how often concepts can be overturned and which service provider is able to support this with good humor and input. I would like to thank you very much for that. That was really great!

Patricia Pohle, Fair Berlin

In addition to its function as a partner and event service provider, GAHRENS + BATTERMANN was also represented as an exhibitor at Stage|Set|Scenery. By using a three-story truss construction with different truss sizes, extensive lighting technology and illuminated KINETIC LIGHTS, the Berlin-based technical team creatively set the stage for their own booth. Another highlight of the booth was the 98″ touch display from NEC, on which some G+B projects of the past years were presented on a large scale. A mix of ATOMIC design panels and the typical blue G+B product cases as furniture completed the picture.

We are proud to have contributed to the success of Stage|Set|Scenery 2019 in close cooperation with the project team of Messe Berlin. We would also like to thank ATOMIC Rental Solutions, SWOOFLE Rental Furniture, WHITEvoid, Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin and VDVO – Verband der Veranstaltungsorganisation e.V. for supporting our presence at the fair and for being such great neighbors during the three days of the fair. Not to forget: A special thank you to Patricia Pohle, Joshu Samuels and Sarah Baumann from Messe Berlin and Christian A. Buschoff from xEMP for their trust! We draw a positive conclusion and are especially pleased that we could welcome and advise so many interested pupils and students with our concept at our booth. Because besides the satisfaction of our customers, the new generation is especially close to our hearts.
