GAHRENS + BATTERMANN welcomes the autumn trainees 2019
Autumn is here and, as every year, thousands of young people start their training throughout Germany at this time of year. The national event service provider GAHRENS + BATTERMANN was also able to welcome many young professionals this year. A total of 25 trainees started their first day of training at G+B in August and September.
Helping to shape the digital transformation
At the start of training, the trainers at G+B were particularly pleased to welcome their new protégés. One or two new trainees were given a little surprise on their first day – from school cones and sweets to confetti, a pizza meal together, or a welcome barbecue. In the individual branches and departments, the trainers have established small rituals over the years to welcome the trainees to the G+B universe.
New impressions and exciting projects from day one
Boredom is not an option at GAHRENS + BATTERMANN, as the first days of the new trainees show. After the initial onboarding, the trainees got straight into the action. Thus, after just a few days, the four event technology specialist trainees from the Berlin branch were able to gain their first practical experience at IFA 2019, the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, which took place from September 4 to 9 at Messe Berlin. The event management trainee from the Düsseldorf branch spent a day getting a taste of the setup at Gamescom 2019 and discovered many highlights at the LOCATIONS trade fair in Düsseldorf. The event management trainee in Hanover was also delighted to visit the opening event of EMO 2019, while all of them together were directly involved in the team and the work ahead in their respective departments.
GAHRENS + BATTERMANN – exciting training company with perspectives
As a medium-sized company, GAHRENS + BATTERMANN attaches particular importance to the good training of young career starters. This was recently confirmed again by the IHK. On September 18, two trainees of the 2019 training year were honored for their special performance at the IHK awards ceremony, as both passed their final exams as the best in their respective training professions. The G+B team is proud and happy that the Junior Project Managers will continue to support the team.
