G+B Events in August: GAHRENS + BATTERMANN invited to events in two cities
In the month of August, two branches of the national event service provider GAHRENS + BATTERMANN hosted customer events. In the cities of Cologne and Hamburg, long-standing partners, customers and curious interested parties enjoyed very different event concepts.
Networking at the End of Summer in Cologne:
On August 27, the second End of Summer event took place in Cologne. The G+B branches in Cologne and Düsseldorf as well as the specialists for fixed installations, G+B Medientechnik, invited their customers and partners to a cozy networking event. With relaxed music, cool drinks and a delicious buffet, guests and G+B employees exchanged ideas in the relaxed atmosphere of the Rheinloft. The location’s impressive terrace, with a view of the Rhine promenade and Cologne Cathedral, also provided a pleasant place to linger in the summer temperatures. Another highlight of the evening was the offer of the quick-drawer Filippo. Within a few minutes he made digital caricatures of the guests on the touch display SamsungFlip. These were sent to the guests the next day by mail and as a souvenir of the successful evening. Overall, the second End of Summer Networking was also a complete success. Positive feedback and enthusiastic thank-yous from the guests confirmed the event concept of the Cologne G+B team. A continuation of the End of Summer event, which will then go into the third round, is planned for next year.

Getting to know each other at the G+B Open House in Hamburg:
The Hamburg branch of GAHRENS + BATTERMANN has seen a lot of changes in the past year. That’s why the G+B team from the Hanseatic city, together with G+B Interactive®, invited agencies and end customers to an open day on two days. In the premises of the Hamburg branch, interactive software solutions, selected LED highlights and other new products were waiting to be discovered by the guests. In a relaxed atmosphere, the G+B team addressed the visitors’ questions regarding the products and the extensive range of services. In addition, the G+B Interactive® team gave exciting impulse presentations on the topic of “Digitalization of Events”. Satisfied guests and hosts were the result: “We are very pleased that so many people accepted our invitation to the G+B Open House. In personal contact, we were able to present our branch, our range of services and our entire Hamburg team. This meant that visitors not only got to know our official portfolio, but also caught a glimpse behind the scenes,” sums up Oliver Sperling, Head of the G+B branch in Hamburg.
