Questions & answers about the online voting tool

How can I conduct elections and votes digitally?

We provide you with digital software tailored to your needs, which you use during the general meeting. Your digital elections and votes are implemented securely from start to finish. If desired, invitations can be sent to members electronically and in accordance with the articles of association. They register online and receive their personal access data by email. On the day of the meeting, they vote via our G+B Streaming Portal event platform or a platform provided by you. The results of the vote are available to you in real time.

What authentication options does G+B offer?

We offer you various authentication options with different levels of security factors. This could be two-factor authentication, where the additional factor can be an SMS or an email.

Are the solutions DSGVO-compliant with server location in Germany?

Our digital solutions for online elections are GDPR-compliant and have their server location in Germany.

Can I distinguish between voting and non-voting members?

Yes, we can configure proxy permissions per member individually.

As a member authorized to represent the company, can I cast more than one vote?

Yes, with our voting tool, multiple votes can be exercised individually for each authorized representative.

Can I map different quorums in the ballots?

Yes, we can map both simple majorities and a wide variety of weightings. If desired, abstentions can also be counted or not included in the result.

How quickly are the results of online elections or digital voting available?

The results are available immediately and live in digital form.

Is it legally possible to hold a virtual general meeting?

It is only possible to hold a virtual general meeting if the statutes of your association or party allow it to be held virtually. The Federal Council and Bundestag have created a legal basis.

Can I broadcast my meeting as a live stream?

Yes, you can also broadcast your general meeting as a live stream. We are happy to be your reliable partner for the entire technical conception, planning and implementation of your event streaming.
