37th CDU party conference in Berlin

The 37th party conference of the CDU Germany took place in February 2025 in the CityCube Berlin – an event of national importance with high media interest. We were responsible for the complete implementation of the video technology and ensured smooth and highly professional visual communication at all levels.

The focus was on a clear visual language, reliable processes and the flexible presentation of a wide range of content – from speeches to the playback of videos and greetings. A comprehensive technology package was used to meet these requirements:

LED walls as a central design element
Five LED walls with a fine pixel pitch of 2.6 mm formed the visual framework of the stage. A total of 156 m² of high-resolution surface was used – partly flown, partly placed – and was played seamlessly with pixel precision. The construction required sophisticated structural planning and precise assembly on site.

Zentrale Mediensteuerung und professionelle Live-Bildproduktion
Für die Steuerung aller Medienflächen kamen zwei gelinkte Analog Way Aquilon Systeme sowie ein Pixera Quad Server zum Einsatz. Diese leistungsstarke Kombination ermöglichte eine zentrale, synchronisierte Ansteuerung aller Displays und LED-Flächen – zuverlässig, flexibel und in Echtzeit.

An LED catwalk in front of the stage added an additional, modern presentation level to the stage set and gave the speakers a new perspective from which to present themselves.

Central media control and professional live image production
Two linked Analog Way Aquilon systems and a Pixera Quad Server were used to control all media areas. This powerful combination enabled central, synchronized control of all displays and LED surfaces – reliably, flexibly and in real time.

High-quality camera technology was used to broadcast and document the party conference: four studio camera trains, a camera crane, a steady cam and several remote cameras enabled a wide variety of images to be captured from a wide range of perspectives. The live control room ensured a consistently professional stream at the highest production level.

We also implemented a comprehensive system of preview displays and signal routing, which supported a smooth process both on and off stage – for a good overview and perfect timing for everyone involved.
