G+B actively supports the specialist conference sub-areas in their exchange with interested parties.

The project at a glance

Where to put highly radioactive waste? This question was addressed by interested citizens, representatives of local authorities, scientists and social groups at the specialist conference Teilgebiete (Sub-areas) in exchange with the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Disposal (BASE) and the Federal Company for Final Storage (BGE).

The conference took place in this form for the first time and was held entirely digitally.

Speakers from BASE and BGE were available for active exchange via livestream and the G+B streaming portal.

As a technical partner, we were responsible for the camera and video technology, streaming and active exchange via our G+B streaming portal.
Many of the approximately 800 registered participants took advantage of the opportunity for active exchange. Questions were collected on the G+B streaming portal, and basic information on the topic and in-depth information were provided.

We integrated spontaneous video contributions into the stream at short notice. And our telephone support was on hand to answer technical questions.
