Our company history

We have been inspiring people for more than 40 years

A strong commitment to customer service on the part of Kurt-Werner Gahrens and Jürgen Battermann led to the founding of their joint venture in 1983.

With a small staff, the company began operations in 1984 by selling and renting audio and video equipment, thereby laying the foundation for a corporate history marked by dedication and passion for the events industry and its clients.

Since then, GAHRENS + BATTERMANN has established itself in the market as an innovative full-service event provider. Teams of experienced event professionals at eight locations across Germany plan and execute approximately 6,000 events each year. With our range of hardware and software, we are now a leader in all event formats.
