Project<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR<\/h2><\/div>For the annual Frankfurt Book Fair, GAHRENS + BATTERMANN was responsible for the technical planning and realization of the opening ceremony, the final of the German Cosplay Championships, the presentation of the Youth Literature Prize and a public reading.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
The project at a glance<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>Location:<\/strong><\/p>\nFairground Frankfurt<\/p>\n
Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\nDuring the day, the event rooms of the Congress Center were used as conference rooms. A perfectly thought-out concept for the optimal use of the premises was therefore a prerequisite.<\/p>\n
Extremely short set-up and dismantling times between the individual events required a perfectly coordinated team and a tight schedule.<\/p>\n
Another tight schedule had to be kept at the German Cosplay Championship, with dress rehearsals in the morning and taking place finals already in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Highlight:<\/strong><\/p>\nTwo camera trains<\/a> captured the opening ceremony in moving images, which were transmitted by means of four projectors<\/a> both on a 19 x 6 meter screen in the back of the stage and in the adjacent rooms.
